How to Activate OTG on Samsung Galaxy A04

If you experience that your flashdisk can’t copy and paste files, chances are your flahsdisk is not using FAT32 format. To fix this, please first format it to Fat32 via PC or via Samsung phone by tapping the 3 dots next to USB Storage in My Files app then select Format.

However, formatting will erase all the data on the pendrive, so first backup all the files on it via laptop or PC.

How to Unmount OTG on Samsung Phone Safely

To reduce the risk of damage to the pendrive, you should not immediately remove OTG from the phone.

For a safe way to remove otg on Samsung phones, namely by unmounting first, you can simply open the notification panel then tap the arrow on USB Storage then tap Remove.

Or you can also go through the My Files app in the USB Storage section, tap the three dots next to it and select Unmount. After unmouting, you can unplug OTG from Samsung A04.
